2. Hosting and server log files

The website runs on a server in Germany managed by our IT service provider CYBWORLD; the data centre is operated by IONOS SE, Montabaur. Data processing agreements are in place with both.

When you visit the site, the server automatically stores data sent by your browser: IP address, date and time, page requested, amount of data transferred, referrer and browser identifier. This is technically necessary to deliver the website and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest.

3. No cookies, no analytics

We set no cookies and use no analytics, tracking or advertising services. Fonts and all parts of the website are served from our own server.

4. Contact by phone or e-mail

If you contact us, we process your details to handle your request, such as a reservation or order (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The data is deleted once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Booking enquiries and availability calendar

If you send a booking enquiry via our website, we process your details (name, e-mail address, phone number, travel dates, number of guests and your message) to check the enquiry, reply to you and, if applicable, conclude a rental agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You will receive e-mails about it: an acknowledgement and our confirmation or refusal.

The form and the availability calendar load their data encrypted from the server of our IT service provider (Lausitz Digital / CYBWORLD, server in Germany), which stores the enquiries on our behalf; no cookies are set. The calendar only shows available and booked days, no data of other guests. To prevent abuse, your IP address is only stored in hashed form for at most 24 hours (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your enquiry is deleted automatically 90 days after the departure date unless statutory retention obligations apply (e.g. for invoices).

6. Map link

“Plan your route” is a plain link to Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited, Dublin), with an additional link to OpenStreetMap. No map is embedded; no data is sent to these services before you click. You only leave our website when you click; the respective service’s privacy policy then applies – with Google, data may also be transferred to the USA.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Please contact us at the address above. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; the competent authority is: Landesbeauftragte/r für den Datenschutz und für das Recht auf Akteneinsicht Brandenburg.
